Opel Insignia 2.0 Turbo Stage 1 Remap
On Opel Insignia 2.0 Turbo turbo petrol engines a Stage 1 remap recalibrates the boost pressure, ignition timing, fuelling and torque limiter maps. No hardware is changed and the original software is backed up. The same engine is sold with different stock outputs across generations, so the gain depends on your version.
It depends on the generation and the stock output. 2.0 Turbo engines with 220–250 bhp reach 280–295 bhp with a Stage 1 remap; the largest gain is +60 bhp (2.0 Turbo 220hp). Pick your version in the table below.

How a Stage 1 remap works on the Opel Insignia 2.0 Turbo
Stage 1 recalibrates boost, ignition and fuelling. The Insignia 2.0 Turbo 220 and 250 hp outputs share hardware, so the gain is clear. On automatic cars the torque limit is respected.
Pre-remap checklist
- Ignition coils and spark plugs.
- Boost leaks, bypass valve and intercooler.
- Cooling system and thermostat.
- Oil consumption (PCV on the 1.6 Turbo).
