When is it needed?

- Unpleasant noise and shake at low revs
Benefits
- Smoother engine running
- Fewer vibration-related comfort issues

Frequently asked questions
Will fuel use increase?
With cylinder deactivation disabled there can be a very small increase; most owners accept that for the smoother drive.
Does it harm the engine?
No; the engine simply runs on all cylinders, which creates no load beyond the factory design.
Does the vibration go away completely?
Vibration caused by cylinder deactivation disappears; if another source exists (engine mount, balance) we tell you separately.

ECU Prime is chiptuning software that recognises the original ECU file you read with your tool and applies the operation you choose. The checksum is corrected in the same flow.
