Mercedes-Benz GLA 45 AMG Stage 1 Remap
On Mercedes-Benz GLA 45 AMG turbo petrol engines a Stage 1 remap recalibrates the boost pressure, ignition timing, fuelling and torque limiter maps. No hardware is changed and the original software is backed up. The same engine is sold with different stock outputs across generations, so the gain depends on your version.
It depends on the generation and the stock output. 45 AMG engines with 360–421 bhp reach 400–470 bhp with a Stage 1 remap; the largest gain is +83 bhp (H247 45 AMG - 387hp). Pick your version in the table below.

About the Mercedes-AMG 45 2.0 turbo (M133 and M139)
The 2.0-litre four-cylinder turbo of the A45, CLA45, GLA45 and GLB45 is among the most ambitious engines of its class in power per litre: the M133 (360–381 hp, 2013–2019) followed by the M139 (387–421 hp).
How a Stage 1 remap works on the Mercedes-Benz GLA 45 AMG
Stage 1 recalibrates boost, ignition and fuelling within the limits of the original hardware. As the factory tune is already high, the gain is kept proportionate; torque arrives earlier and mid-range acceleration hardens noticeably. The DCT torque limit is respected.
Pre-remap checklist
- Spark plugs and ignition coils; this engine is sensitive to plug life.
- High-pressure fuel pump and injectors.
- Intercooler circuit and boost leaks.
- High-octane fuel and oil service intervals.
