Fiat Punto EVO Abarth Stage 1 Remap
On Fiat Punto EVO Abarth turbo petrol engines a Stage 1 remap recalibrates the boost pressure, ignition timing, fuelling and torque limiter maps. No hardware is changed and the original software is backed up. The same engine is sold with different stock outputs across generations, so the gain depends on your version.
It depends on the generation and the stock output. Abarth engines with 165–180 bhp reach 180–200 bhp with a Stage 1 remap; the largest gain is +20 bhp (Abarth 1.4 T-jet Essesse 180hp). Pick your version in the table below.

About the Fiat 1.4 T-Jet / MultiAir Turbo (Tipo, 500, Bravo, Abarth, Jeep Renegade)
The 1.4-litre turbo petrol powers the Fiat Tipo, 500, Bravo, Punto, Doblo, Alfa Romeo MiTo, Giulietta, Jeep Renegade and Abarth models from 120 to 180 hp. The T-Jet uses conventional valve control, the MultiAir electro-hydraulic valve control.
How a Stage 1 remap works on the Fiat Punto EVO Abarth
Stage 1 recalibrates boost, ignition and fuelling. The 120 hp Tipo T-Jet shares its basic hardware with the 150 hp versions, so the gain is clear; mid-range acceleration and overtaking confidence improve visibly.
Pre-remap checklist
- Ignition coils and spark plugs.
- Boost leaks, wastegate and intercooler hoses.
- MultiAir unit and oil quality on MultiAir versions (clean oil is essential).
- Fuel octane rating.
