Volvo Construction and Volvo Penta Industrial ECU Solutions: VDO ACM, ATK-EM-EU6, EDC7
Volvo loaders, excavators and articulated haulers share their engine families with Volvo Penta industrial engines. The engine ECU mostly comes from Continental and Bosch. Solutions for both are available at ECU Prime.
Which ECU, which operation?
- Volvo, Continental VDO ACM and ATK-EM-EU6: Stage 1.
- Volvo, Bosch EDC7UC31: AdBlue / SCR solution.
- Volvo Penta Industrial, Bosch EDC7C1-C2 and ATK-EM-EU6: Stage 1.
The ECU type depends on model year and engine. The exact type is confirmed from the ECU label or by reading it with a diagnostic tool; send a photo of the label on WhatsApp and we will tell you which file applies.
Common faults
- AdBlue / SCR warning and derate
- DPF loading and frequent regeneration after long idling
- Sooted EGR valve and warning lamp
- Torque drop under load
