VW Constellation, Agrale, Peterbilt and Alexander Dennis: Cummins CM2150E, CM2250, CM2350A

The Volkswagen Constellation and Delivery (Brazil), Agrale, Peterbilt and Alexander Dennis buses share one thing: a Cummins engine. The ECU is Cummins’ too: the CM2150E, CM2250 and, on newer vehicles, the CM2350A. Solutions from Stage 1 to AdBlue and DPF are available at ECU Prime on these ECUs.
Which vehicle, which ECU?
- VW Constellation and Delivery with Agrale, Cummins CM2150E: Stage 1, Stage 2 and Stage 3.
- Peterbilt, Cummins CM2250: AdBlue / SCR, DPF and emission package.
- Alexander Dennis bus, Cummins CM2350A: AdBlue / SCR and DPF.
- Agrale, Bosch EDC16C8 and EDC16C3: Stage 1.
For all Cummins ECUs see our Cummins engine ECU article.
The ECU type depends on model year and engine. The exact type is confirmed from the ECU label or by reading it with a diagnostic tool; send a photo of the label on WhatsApp and we will tell you which file applies.
Common faults
- AdBlue / SCR warning, NOx sensor failure and derate
- DPF loading and endless regeneration in city and short runs
- Sooted EGR valve and cooler
- Weak pulling on loaded climbs and high fuel use
How it works
- Reading: upload the original file read with your tool, or visit one of our locations.
- Calibration: the file is prepared for the exact engine and ECU software version, checksum corrected; the original is archived.
- Application and check: fault scan and run / road test after writing.
Workshops get the same solutions through the ECU Prime file service.
Emission-related software is offered only for uses permitted by applicable law (off-road / closed-site use, racing, export, diagnostics); road use and inspection compliance are the owner’s responsibility.
