Volvo V60 T6 Stage 1 Remap
On Volvo V60 T6 turbo petrol engines a Stage 1 remap recalibrates the boost pressure, ignition timing, fuelling and torque limiter maps. No hardware is changed and the original software is backed up. The same engine is sold with different stock outputs across generations, so the gain depends on your version.
It depends on the generation and the stock output. T6 engines with 304–350 bhp reach 330–400 bhp with a Stage 1 remap; the largest gain is +50 bhp (T6 350hp). Pick your version in the table below.
Volvo V60 T6: Stage 1 figures by generation and year

| Volvo V60 T6 304hp | 304 → 330 bhp | 440 → 495 Nm | +26 bhp |
| Volvo V60 T6 350hp | 350 → 400 bhp | 500 → 600 Nm | +50 bhp |

How a Stage 1 remap works on the Volvo V60 T6
Stage 1 recalibrates boost, ignition and fuelling. Since the T3, T4 and T5 largely share hardware, the gain is clear. The 8-speed automatic's torque capacity is respected in the calibration.
Pre-remap checklist
- Ignition coils, spark plugs and fuel quality.
- High-pressure fuel pump.
- Boost leaks and intercooler.
- Automatic gearbox oil service.
