About the Toyota D-4D diesel (1.4, 2.0, 2.2, 2.4, 2.8)

D-4D engines are the common-rail diesels of the Toyota Yaris, Auris, Corolla, Verso, Avensis, RAV4, Hilux and Land Cruiser. The 1.4 D-4D gives 90 hp, the 2.0 and 2.2 D-4D 124–177 hp, and the Hilux 2.4 and 2.8 D-4D 150–204 hp.

How a Stage 1 remap works on the Toyota ProAce 1.6 D-4D

Stage 1 recalibrates rail pressure, injection duration, boost and the torque limiter. Thanks to Toyota's conservative factory tune, the Hilux and RAV4 in particular gain clearly in torque. The automatic gearbox capacity is respected.
