Peugeot Expert / Traveller 1.6 BlueHDI Stage 1 Remap
On Peugeot Expert / Traveller 1.6 BlueHDI diesel engines a Stage 1 remap recalibrates the fuel quantity, injection timing, boost pressure and torque limiter maps. No hardware is changed and the original software is backed up. The same engine is sold with different stock outputs across generations, so the gain depends on your version.
It depends on the generation and the stock output. 1.6 BlueHDI engines with 95–115 bhp reach 130–140 bhp with a Stage 1 remap; the largest gain is +35 bhp (1.6 BlueHDI 8V 95hp). Pick your version in the table below.

About the PSA 1.6 HDi / e-HDi / BlueHDi (DV6)
The 1.6 HDi is one of Europe's most common small diesels, used in the Peugeot 206, 207, 307, 308, 3008, Partner, Citroën C3, C4, Berlingo, Xsara Picasso and also in Ford, Mini, Volvo and Mazda models. It exists in 8- and 16-valve forms from 90 to 120 hp.
How a Stage 1 remap works on the Peugeot Expert / Traveller 1.6 BlueHDI
Stage 1 recalibrates injection quantity, rail pressure and boost according to the version's hardware. The 8-valve BlueHDi versions respond particularly well. Torque arrives earlier, and urban and overtaking performance improve clearly.
Pre-remap checklist
- Turbo oil feed line and oil strainer; turbo failure is common on older 16-valve versions.
- DPF load and, on older versions, Eolys additive level.
- EGR valve and intake soot.
- Injector sealing and dual-mass flywheel.
