Peugeot 308 1.5 BlueHDi Stage 1 Remap
On Peugeot 308 1.5 BlueHDi diesel engines a Stage 1 remap recalibrates the fuel quantity, injection timing, boost pressure and torque limiter maps. No hardware is changed and the original software is backed up. The same engine is sold with different stock outputs across generations, so the gain depends on your version.
It depends on the generation and the stock output. 1.5 BlueHDi engines with 100–130 bhp reach 140–163 bhp with a Stage 1 remap; the largest gain is +40 bhp (1.5 BlueHDi 100hp). Pick your version in the table below.

About the PSA 1.5 BlueHDi (DV5)
The 1.5 BlueHDi is the new-generation diesel of the post-2017 Peugeot 208, 308, 2008, 3008, Citroën C3, C4, Berlingo, Opel Corsa, Astra and Crossland. It is equipped with AdBlue (SCR) and a DPF and comes in 100 and 130 hp versions.
How a Stage 1 remap works on the Peugeot 308 1.5 BlueHDi
Stage 1 recalibrates rail pressure, injection and boost. The gain is especially clear on the 100 hp version, since its hardware is largely shared with the 130 hp. Emissions systems are preserved; on EAT8 automatic cars the torque limit is respected.
Pre-remap checklist
- AdBlue system: pump, injector and NOx sensors; AdBlue faults are frequent on this engine.
- DPF load.
- EGR valve cleanliness.
- Oil service; the belt runs in oil.
On a car with an AdBlue fault, diagnosis comes first; the "engine will not start" countdown is handled within the legal framework.
This section is based on GP Power ECU workshop experience; the power and torque figures come from the catalogue measurement above.
