Fiat Stilo 1.9 JTD Stage 1 Remap
On Fiat Stilo 1.9 JTD diesel engines a Stage 1 remap recalibrates the fuel quantity, injection timing, boost pressure and torque limiter maps. No hardware is changed and the original software is backed up. The same engine is sold with different stock outputs across generations, so the gain depends on your version.

The 1.9 JTD is the four-cylinder common-rail diesel used throughout the 2000s in the Fiat Stilo, Bravo, Doblo, Alfa Romeo 147, 156, 159, GT, Opel Astra, Vectra, Zafira and Saab 9-3, in 8- and 16-valve forms from 100 to 150 hp.
How a Stage 1 remap works on the Fiat Stilo 1.9 JTD
Stage 1 recalibrates rail pressure, injection and boost. With its durable block the engine responds well; the mid-range torque gain is clear. On 16-valve versions the condition of the swirl flaps affects the result.
