DS 4 2.0 BlueHDi Stage 1 Remap
On DS 4 2.0 BlueHDi diesel engines a Stage 1 remap recalibrates the fuel quantity, injection timing, boost pressure and torque limiter maps. No hardware is changed and the original software is backed up. The same engine is sold with different stock outputs across generations, so the gain depends on your version.
It depends on the generation and the stock output. 2.0 BlueHDi engines with 150–180 bhp reach 205 bhp with a Stage 1 remap; the largest gain is +55 bhp (2.0 BlueHDi 150hp). Pick your version in the table below.
DS 4 2.0 BlueHDi: Stage 1 figures by generation and year
Year / chassis: 2015+
| Engine | Power | Torque | Gain |
|---|---|---|---|
| DS 4 2.0 BlueHDi 150hp | 150 → 205 bhp | 370 → 460 Nm | +55 bhp |
| DS 4 2.0 BlueHDi 180hp | 180 → 205 bhp | 400 → 460 Nm | +25 bhp |

About the PSA 2.0 HDi / BlueHDi (DW10)
The 2.0 HDi is a robust diesel used for years in the Peugeot 307, 308, 407, 508, 3008, 5008, Expert, Citroën C4, C5, Jumpy and Opel Grandland, from 110 to 180 hp, with a DPF and, on BlueHDi versions, AdBlue.
How a Stage 1 remap works on the DS 4 2.0 BlueHDi
Stage 1 recalibrates rail pressure, injection duration and boost. Thanks to its durable construction the engine responds well; the mid-range torque gain is clear. On automatic cars the gearbox torque limit is respected.
Pre-remap checklist
- DPF load and regeneration history.
- EGR valve and swirl flap mechanism on 16-valve versions.
- Boost leaks.
- AdBlue system on BlueHDi versions.
