Citroen C3 1.2 PureTech Stage 1 Remap
On Citroen C3 1.2 PureTech turbo petrol engines a Stage 1 remap recalibrates the boost pressure, ignition timing, fuelling and torque limiter maps. No hardware is changed and the original software is backed up. The same engine is sold with different stock outputs across generations, so the gain depends on your version.
It depends on the generation and the stock output. 1.2 PureTech engines with 82–110 bhp reach 92–145 bhp with a Stage 1 remap; the largest gain is +35 bhp (1.2 PureTech 110hp). Pick your version in the table below.

How a Stage 1 remap works on the Citroen C3 1.2 PureTech
Stage 1 recalibrates boost, ignition advance and fuelling. The gain is clear on the 110 and 130 hp versions; mid-range acceleration and low-rev torque fill out. The calibration stays within exhaust temperature and knock limits.
Pre-remap checklist
- Condition of the timing belt, which runs in oil, the best-known sensitive point of this engine.
- Oil level and the correct oil specification.
- Ignition coils and spark plugs.
- Boost leaks and wastegate.
On engines past the belt replacement interval, the belt service comes first.
