BMW X3 3.0D Stage 1 Remap
On BMW X3 3.0D diesel engines a Stage 1 remap recalibrates the fuel quantity, injection timing, boost pressure and torque limiter maps. No hardware is changed and the original software is backed up. The same engine is sold with different stock outputs across generations, so the gain depends on your version.
It depends on the generation and the stock output. 3.0D engines with 204–258 bhp reach 250–310 bhp with a Stage 1 remap; the largest gain is +89 bhp (F25 3.0D 211hp). Pick your version in the table below.

GP Power ECU applies the software at its workshop in Hukou, Hsinchu, using EcuPrime-developed files; workshops can also order the file directly.
About the BMW 3.0 diesel (N57 and B57: 325d, 330d, 335d, 530d, 730d, X5 30d / 40d)
The six-cylinder 3.0 diesel powers the BMW 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 Series and X3, X5 and X6 as the N57 (2008–2017) and B57 (2017 onwards), in single, twin and quad-turbo forms from 204 to 400 hp. It is one of the diesels that responds most strongly to software.
How a Stage 1 remap works on the BMW X3 3.0D
Stage 1 recalibrates boost, injection, rail pressure and torque maps for a substantial mid-range torque gain. The automatic gearbox capacity and the xDrive system are respected. The driving character becomes markedly stronger and more linear.
Pre-remap checklist
- Swirl flap mechanism and EGR cooler (some versions were subject to a recall).
- Boost leaks and intercooler.
- DPF load and AdBlue system.
- Oil service and cooling system.
