Audi A5 S5 Stage 1 Remap
On Audi A5 S5 turbo petrol engines a Stage 1 remap recalibrates the boost pressure, ignition timing, fuelling and torque limiter maps. No hardware is changed and the original software is backed up. The same engine is sold with different stock outputs across generations, so the gain depends on your version.
It depends on the generation and the stock output. S5 engines with 333 bhp reach 435 bhp with a Stage 1 remap; the largest gain is +102 bhp (MK2 S5 3.0 TFSI 333hp). Pick your version in the table below.

About the Audi 3.0 TFSI V6 (supercharged and turbocharged generations)
The 3.0 TFSI was offered first supercharged and later turbocharged in the A6, A7, A8, Q5, Q7, S4 and S5. In both forms the engine leaves the factory with a clear performance reserve.
How a Stage 1 remap works on the Audi A5 S5
On supercharged versions Stage 1 recalibrates throttle, ignition and fuelling; on turbocharged versions boost pressure as well. The result is a linear but much stronger acceleration. The quattro system and automatic gearbox capacity are respected in the calibration.
Pre-remap checklist
- Supercharger pulley and cooling system (supercharged generation).
- Ignition coils and spark plugs.
- Gearbox and differential oil service.
