About the Jaguar Land Rover 2.0 turbo petrol (Si4 and Ingenium P200 / P250 / P300)
The 2.0-litre turbo petrol powers the Range Rover Evoque, Velar, Discovery Sport, Jaguar XE, XF, F-Pace and E-Pace: the Ford-derived Si4 (240 hp, 2012–2017) and then JLR's own Ingenium in P200, P250 and P300 outputs (200–300 hp).
How a Stage 1 remap works on the Land Rover Range Rover / Sport 2.0 Si4 300hp
Stage 1 recalibrates boost, ignition and fuelling. The P200 and P250 share hardware, so the lower output gains clearly. The 8 and 9-speed automatic's torque capacity and the all-wheel-drive system are respected.
Pre-remap checklist
- Ignition coils and spark plugs.
- Boost leaks and intercooler.
- High-pressure fuel pump.
- Cooling system and oil service.
This section is based on GP Power ECU workshop experience; the power and torque figures come from the catalogue measurement above.
